# Rotate a document

> Queue a rotation update for an image-based document in the Terminal49 API. PDFs and other non-image document types are not supported by this endpoint.

  After rotation is accepted, request [`GET /documents/{id}/download_url`](/api-docs/api-reference/documents/get-a-document-download-url) again to retrieve the updated image.
